It is a good textbook that focuses on forest Management and mathematical modelling using simple programs (a spreadsheet). It provides methods for modelling several scenarios: timber production, environmental protection I strongly recommend it.
In my opinion the book should be among the top five of every forester's personal libraryCited by: Forest Management and Planning, Second Edition, addresses contemporary forest management planning issues, providing a concise, focused resource for those in forest management.
